The One Physics Therapy Physics Residency Program (CAMPEP Accredited) recruitment window for the 2026-2028 Residency Cycle in the West Ohio “Hub Site” and the Youngstown Affiliate is now open and expected to run March 27th – April 30th 2026. The start dates are anticipated to be July 2026 (West Ohio) and January 2027 (Youngstown). The program hopes to conclude the process on May 1st for both positions.

One Physics aims to be a national leader in providing high quality clinical medical physics services. Part of this commitment to clinical leadership is exemplified through training the next generation of high quality clinical medical physicists through a Medical Physics Residency program. The One Physics Therapy Residency Program is designed to prepare MS or PhD graduates for a career in Medical Physics in the sub-specialty of Radiation Therapy Physics. This 24 month training program is also designed to help prepare the Resident for the ABR Board Certification process.

Applicants should submit CV, Personal Statement, and a list of 3 references with their application. Undergraduate and Graduate Transcripts will be only requested for Applicants receiving an interview, but stating achieved GPA on the CV is recommended. Reference letters are requested for candidates receiving an interview.
A final degree of PhD is not required or preferred for admittance to this program. MS, DMP and PhD candidates are all equally considered and are welcome to apply.
Standard 2.13 States: “An accredited program must publicly describe the program and the achievements of its residents, preferably through a publicly-accessible website. This information must be updated no less often than annually and must include the numbers of applicants to the program, of applicants offered admission, of residents entering the program, and of graduates. Information on the subsequent positions of graduates shall also be provided, i.e., numbers in academics, clinical practice, industrial positions, etc. This information should not identify individuals.“
