Partnerships Strengthen One Physics’ Nationwide Presence Across the Pacific Northwest and Northern California through Partnerships with Corwin Health Physics and Medical Physics Consulting Services
TOWSON, MD – One Physics (“OP”), the largest outsourced medical physics services company in North America, today announced the closing of its partnerships with Corwin Health Physics (“Corwin”), headquartered in Centralia, Washington, and Medical Physics Consulting Services (“MPCS”), headquartered in Pleasant Hill, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. The transactions represent One Physics’ 23rd and 24th partnerships and meaningfully expand the company’s geographic presence across the Western US.
Founded in 2000 by Jeremy Corwin, Corwin is a leading provider of medical physics services in the Pacific Northwest and provides a comprehensive suite of diagnostic medical physics and radiation safety services to healthcare organizations throughout the region. The company has built longstanding relationships with leading healthcare organizations across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.
“For more than 25 years, we have built Corwin around being a trusted partner to healthcare organizations across the Pacific Northwest,” said Jeremy Corwin, CEO of Corwin Health Physics. “In One Physics, we found a partner that shares our commitment to quality, employee success and client service while giving our team access to broader resources, capabilities and career opportunities. This partnership enables us to preserve what has made Corwin successful while continuing to grow across the region.”
Operating since the mid-1980s, MPCS is a leading provider of diagnostic medical physics and radiation safety services headquartered in Pleasant Hill, California, serving hospital systems and imaging centers throughout Northern California. The partnership deepens One Physics’ presence in Northern California and further expands its diagnostic medical physics and radiation safety capabilities in the region.
“Since MPCS was founded, our focus has been providing hospitals and imaging centers with responsive, dependable and high-quality medical physics and radiation safety support,” said Darlene Belmonte, founder of MPCS. “After much consideration I chose One Physics to carry on our mission of delivering high-quality and reliable medical physics services to our customers. By partnering with One Physics, our clients will benefit from additional resources and an expanded range of services.”
With more than 250 physicists and dosimetrists, One Physics now supports more than 8,000 healthcare client sites across more than 45 states and operates eight medical physics residency programs. One Physics combines national scale with local clinical expertise across diagnostic and therapy medical physics, radiation safety, dosimetry, shielding design, commissioning, badge programs, and locum coverage.
“Corwin Health Physics and MPCS are highly complementary additions to One Physics and represent an important step in building a truly national medical physics platform, expanding our presence into the Pacific Northwest and West Coast,” said Jason Schneck, Chief Executive Officer of One Physics. “Both organizations have market leadership in their respective geographies and align with the culture of One Physics; local market leadership, exceptional customer service, and industry leading expertise.
